Final Project Process
For my last project I chose to do a Conditional Design piece in a card game form.My first choice for inspiration was the game
"Cards against Humanity", the idea of creating a original narrative based on random chance and choice appealed to me and what I had in mind when we first got the project brief

PROCESS...
PROTOTYPES
For the ongoing process I used the Japanese New Years Game "Hanafuda" as an inspiration and further developed my work on the the premise of slot-like, puzzle cards that can be combined but also instead of using months as normaly it is used in the game I would use different fairytale characters and locations.

Mix and Match possibility.

First Phase of the Game is the Character Matcher, both players receive 3 card segments. From the remaining 12, other 3 are put in the middle between each player. From here starting with the player that received the first card segment they start trading one segment with the desired ones on the board. You can only trade once per turn. You can choose to pass the turn. After the players are done the three segments are discarded in a pile and 3 new segments are put on the board for 2 more rounds. After the rounds are done you put the character you obtained to the side and start the Location Phase.
The Second Phase is the same but with two cards instead of three.
At the end of the game the points each character and location have is counted by looking at the board, for the next game the point allocation for each character will be moved by one(ex. Alice become 15, Cinderella 5 and Little Mermaid 10) the same is done for the Location cards.
